Willie Mays and me
I was waiting in the baggage claim of the SFO airport when Willie Mays sat down 2 seats from me!
Marty has always said that a highlight of his childhood was seeing Willie Mays at a game with his dad at Candlestick Park. And he and I had just talked about it again this week as we drove through San Francisco. Here is Willie Mays! Where was Marty? Sadly, he had just departed on a flight back to Dallas and I had an hour in the quiet baggage claim waiting for the Bluefish team coming in for a video shoot.
No one else was really around, so I put aside my shyness but still nervous as I introduced myself to The Willie Mays. And then I babbled (alot) about Marty and his fond memory of seeing Willie Mays play and asked for a picture with him. He was gracious to say yes.
Here you go ... wish you were here, Marty!
